syo-ro is a 15ml bottled fountain pen ink from Pilot's Iroshizuku line — a deep blue-green teal named for the dew that collects on pine needles.

松露 is the dew that gathers on a pine. It holds the color of the needle and the color of the sky at the same time, and syo-ro sits right in that spot: green enough to read as green, blue enough to read as teal. The bottle reads nearly black, and the teal arrives on the page. It shades beautifully — a wet nib pulls a dark, almost forest-green edge around a lighter center — and it works as an everyday writing ink the way a blue-black does. This is one of the most asked-for colors in the whole Iroshizuku line.
