MD Notebook A5

The MD Notebook is one of those products that just gets better the more you use it. At first glance it looks simple — and it is — but every detail is intentional.

The paper is Midori's original "MD Paper," developed in-house since the 1960s. It's designed specifically to prevent bleed-through and feathering, which makes it a dream for fountain pen users. The thread-sewn binding opens completely flat, so you're never fighting the spine while you write.

The lined version has a nice touch — a thicker center line on each page so you can split it into top and bottom sections. Use it as a daily journal, meeting notes, a planner with dates added in, or just let yourself write without a plan. The grid version is perfect if you like a little structure on the page without it taking over — great for bullet journaling, planning layouts, or graph-based notes.

The A5 size gives you room to spread out, which makes it ideal for work notes, daily records, or notebook decoration.
