Faust is a 30ml bottled fountain pen ink from Wearingeul's World Literature collection — a violet black covered in a shining green sheen.

This is the temptation ink: the black is the bargain, and the green gleam over it is Mephistopheles making the offer sound reasonable. On dry strokes it can pass for a serious everyday dark ink; lay it down wet and the green takes over almost completely. Few inks in the whole line have a bigger gap between their quiet side and their showy one.
